Frequently Asked Questions

Please send us a personalized message if you have a different question.

The most basic definition is pain that persists for longer than three (3) months – after the period of time that the body should heal itself from an injury.  More than 1 in 5 American adults experience chronic pain.

Finding the actual cause of your chronic pain is the first step to finding relief. Yet this first step is often elusive and not straightforward. Pain can be the result of injury, underlying medical conditions, genetic abnormalities, nervous system dysfunction, neurological problems, and much more. We can help pinpoint the causes and contributors to your pain.

  1. People who experience chronic pain but have unclear or inconsistent diagnoses, and therefore may not know how to manage pain effectively.
  2. People with correct diagnoses and understanding of what causes their pain but have not been able to manage it well.
  3. People with correct diagnoses and somewhat helpful pain management strategies, but a desire to achieve more significant relief.
  4. People with chronic pain who have been told "you just have to live with it" or "you're out of options." It's not true.

Rather than only offering one method of treating pain, our comprehensive, interdisciplinary model takes a biopsychosocial approach to chronic pain management and customizes care for your specific condition and needs.  We save you the time, effort, and money of bouncing from one unhelpful specialist to the next and provide pain-trained physicians, physical therapists, psychologists, and coaches to you all in one place. When chronic pain is all-encompassing, it requires a comprehensive solution.
